On my stay in Abu Dhabi I’ve managed to see the famous Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Despite the heat, on Friday afternoon i took a taxi and visited that one of the biggest Mosques in the world. I must admit that it looks majestic. I went to see it on Friday when mosque was closed till afternoon because of the Friday prayer. I had to wait a little bit, but I was lucky – the guard let me in when prayer was about to end, and I had a wonderful opportunity to walk around where there was no tourists around. That’s why you can see some photos of the mosque itself without hundreds of tourists running around and that was the situation after an hour when all tourists were let in.
So this is the first part of photos taken in Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque – when wandering around the building. In second part you’ll see the landscape with the tourists as well as wonderful interiors of that Grand Mosque.
