I took the Canon 5DmII from the back of the cabinet, removed all the dust and decided to take it for a short trip. Especially that I have thoughts to sell it – I hope someone will use it more and have more fun of it. So it may be my one of the last walks with EOS. This time I had wide lens – Tokina as I wanted to capture one of the last moments of the last tenement left at the Traugutta Street. Grounds around are probably belonging to the Technical University of Gdańsk, adjacent to that building is a new Department of Management (ZIE), next to that is growing right now new building, probably another Department will move to the new building. Demolishing the last tenement is just a matter of time.
It’s very interesting as you can see the old letters in front of the elevation – I found on old photos: first “Albert Schroder” and later… “MIĘSO WĘDLINY” , and on the left side under the white paint “Szynowski”.
It’s sad to say goodbye to those old buildings made of the red brick..
