Warsaw, Sunday walk

As usual on Sunday afternoon I had time for a short walk with a camera. I was equipped with two cameras: digital FujiFilm X100 and film Canon AE-1 Program with Canon 50mm/f1.4 and Sigma 28mm/f2.8. Canon was loaded with Agfa Vista 200 so the plan was to use it outside until dusk and X100 use in low-light conditions, where higher iso (1600) can be set.

It occurred that my preparations were not correct before walk, as I had no spare film for the AE-1 but as it turned out there was no chance to reach the end of the loaded film as the battery in AE-1 finally become dead. Here I can see the advantage of the all-mechanical film cameras. So I had no choice and I switched to the X100… after a few shots the battery in X100 because of cold was dead also. I had a backup one but as soon I loaded it to the camera I found out that I forgot to charge it before the walk. That was the final sign that it’s high time to go home… so I did.
