At the end of the April we had to go officially to Poznań. It’s quite a nice city, known of it students’ universities as well as the old town (Of course Gdańsk is more beautiful – IMHO – :) ). Because of the kind of the travel my baggage was limited, and that’s why I had only my small camera EOS350D with the fixed length lens made for Zenit: Carl Zeiss f/2.4 35mm. That way I have a good and small ‘DSLR – pocket camera. Here you can see some photos taken in Poznań:
That’s how the telephone booths looked like in the past. You could find booths like that at the polish Post Offices… and now as shown also could be found here in Polish hotels…
There is one more interesting thing i found in Ponzań – The Valdemar Wine :) From Spain. It’s Great ! You have to try it…
The Orbis hotel itself where we stayed. It’s not-so-expensive, however it’s clean, however it looks like it was transferred from the communist era… The phone booths, the corridor, everywhere there is a ghost of the past.
Then we have some time to go the old market and to see the city hall. It was about 11pm so it was dark, i had to use maximum ISO1600, and f2.4… As you can see we found great promotion – Mohito for 9,90 zł :) It’s a good sign that summer is coming :)
The next day during the day we have some time to walk around…
