Today I’ve once again gone for a walk to test the new equipment. And I’ve already developed the colour film today and I’m really not happy with the results. In fact I’m very disappointed. I’ve used Fuji Reala ISO 100 (I hadn’t other, more sensitive C-41 Color film), and the weather conditions were not so good – cloudy and foggy,it was a little bit too dark for the ISO 100 – however I hoped that with f/2.8 I manage to take at least few decent shots. I was wrong. I’ve tried to set the focus right, and even with the longer times I’ve tried to keep camera stable, I’ve also tried shorter times 1/125 and 1/250… Well… It didn’t help. It seems that there is a problem with the camera or the photographer.
Well, start with the previous camera was also harsh, So I’m hoping that is the same situation – but in fact I feel that camera needs a service.
Here you can compare the results – photos taken with EOS350D with 28mm and Traditional photos from the new-old Rolleiflex. You can also compare with the photos taken with Rolleiflex Auto posted earlier. The difference is noticable :/
Photos from the medium format Rolleiflex 2.8C,taken mostly at f/2.8 – with times 1/60 and 1/125-1/250.
