The Mexican Suitcase

Yesterday I’ve received a heavy package. The content was well secured with grey paper in the carton box. When I opened it – I saw a white carton suitcase with black letters on top: “The Mexican Suitcase”. Of course it is just an album with a famous photos by Robert Capa and others found in “Mexican Suitcase,”. Actually it was three flimsy cardboard valises containing thousands of negatives of pictures that Capa and others took during the Spanish Civil War before he fled Europe for America in 1939. Album is showing all photos found there. Below you can see how the box – suitcase looked like.

Below photos of my “modern” suitcase with album. First part of album describes all story and background of the times when the photos were taken and the second volume is actually catalogue of all films found there.
