Test Yashica Electro 35 GTN

I’ve recently also tried to fix and calibrate the rangefinder of the Yashica Electro 35 GTN. It looked like I did it right – in the viewfinder I can correctly focus on the infinity and everything seemed right. Unfortunately when I received the developed film from the lab I’ve noticed that almost all photos are out of focus. It look like rangefinder is not correctly synchronized with the lens. I set up the distance correctly in the viewfinder, but the photo is out of focus. Of course the aperture f/1.7 doesn’t help as the depth of field is very small.
I’ll try to correct it – but for sure it takes a few test films…

Check some better shots taken with that Yashica loaded with Agfaphoto VistaPlus 200. You can see that some photos are out of focus – B&W helps to accept the blurred images – that’s why a few are corrected on purpose.
