Sunday Warsaw

First some street shots in black and white taken mostly at the ‘Rynek Nowego Miasta’ area. I especially like photo No 4 – I wanted to see Kushti wrestlers gallery in ‘obok ZPAF’ gallery by Bartosz Sobanek and I’ve parked my bike at this lantern, while locking the bike I’ve noticed that left empty bottle and decided that I had to take that shot. To be clear – the bottle was already here when I came :)

And the gallery is very interesting – highly recommended to see Kushti by Bartosz Sobanek. What is interesting that day I saw also best polish press photo in another gallery – there were photos of one of the currently best known polish photographers – Tomasz Gudzowaty of the same subject. He regularly wins some awards at the World Press Photo contest. There were slight difference in catching the moment and in portraits, but both series of photos were equally good, or even with a small little subjective preference to Bartek (here you can see his blog) . Great Job !

Below three shots in color. On the second picture you can see paintings to honour the Maria Curie-Skłodowska, with discovered elements: polonium and radium. Third photo I’ve decided to title: “Euro 2012 is coming…”

Next photos (except two last) are from the Plac Zamkowy (Castle Square) area. It was a warm May day, probably therefore there were so many people on Sunday walk.

Another part of photos in B&W mostly street-like. On the first picture you can see test of DOF with the Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens on my bike.
