I wasn’t updating the web page for some time, mostly because of lack of time and being too tired after the work… However i finally found a second – and there they are – some random photos from the analog Canon AE-1 taken with Fuji Superia 400. I had to admit that I’m a little bit disappointed of the results. I’m now on i’m not a big fan of that film, as well as my poor abilities to fetch some good effect from that film and camera…
The verdict is obvious – i have to stick to the b&w film (at least to the next disappointment…).
First shot is from Włocławek from the great market at the outskirts of the city where you can buy almost everything from socks from China to the antiques and used lawnmower from the Germany.
And here some shots of the Solidarności street in Warsaw during the Winter. First one near the Ratusz-Arsenał metro station and the second near the crossroads with Okopowa street.
Well… i have also first results of photos taken with Fed4. Well… first results are not encouraging – in fact on opposite to that. First of all – there are only 9 photos from the 24 shots – mine ‘favorite’ Fuji Superia 400. Well probably poor effect is also because of the poor scanner in the lab – however it’s the cheapest one in the area and the results are not so great to go to find a better one. A lot of those photos are wasted because i forgot to take out the lens cap… it’s not the DSLR – you’re not looking through the lens… Others were wasted because i pushed the shutter button by the accident – for example where putting the camera to the cover or backpack…
Well those which were developed and scanned are also not-too-good – despite it was a test – i ‘ve expected the better result. The only hope is that the photos from the currently inserted the b&w film will be better…
Well you can see the results of the first Fed4 tests here, that grain on the photos is probably because of the poor quality of the film scanner. I didn’t wanted to remove it to show you the REAL results.
The portrait.
