I like that film. I have one more roll but I’m currently testing the equicolor film I bought recently. I probably use that second polypan roll soon, as the sensitivity ASA 50 is difficult to shoot. The best results you get during the sunny days. Autumn is coming so probably higher iso will be needed for the gray, cloudy days. However I like this film. Whites seem to glow, photos have a good contrast with good white and black, but not too much grays on the photo. But I still like it.
Below some test photos taken in Warsaw, Gdynia and Gdańsk.
First photos on that film I took in Warsaw. First one is one of the backyards in Warsaw. The tenement is almost at the centre – but when you pass the gate you enter completely different world… Second photo was taken in Muranów district – it’s quite recognizable ‘Hala Mirowska’ marketplace building. At the third photo there is entrance to the Politechnika metro station.
Gdynia.
Ania. Breakfast in Gdynia.
Gdynia Główna Railway Station.
After the breakfast we went to see recently renewed Railway Station – Gdynia Główna. The building looks great after renovation. The building was build in the late 50’s, during the ‘socrealism’ architecture – so you should expect just simple box – but it’s not – it’s really great and interesting architecture worth saving and visiting. Check the photos below which show just a part of the whole station.
The rest of the photos where taken at the Świętojańska street on Saturday morning – the street lives at that hour when the all shops are open. Really great place for the street photos.
Gdańsk.
Below photos taken in Gdańsk. First one was taken at the Władysława Syrokomli stret – in the district of the old colony of the workers’ houses built by the fundation of dr. Abbeg in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz. Really nicee place worth visiting. Even though it’s at the main Grunwaldzka Street you seldom noticing or visiting that place. Last two photos were taken within are of recently built, modern part of Garrison Lofts&Apartments in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz.
