This Saturday we’ve been on the one day trip on the Mazovia region. We were going to start very early starting from Warsaw at 7am. Of course we overslept because of long evening the day before and clock alarm not loud enough. So we were late 20min… fortunately the driver catched lost time on the road and we came early to the first village with the old castle-like building – Gostynin. It’s the first photo -really believe me it was the best shot and the most interesting subject there… but it might be just because of the difference of the air pressure and slight headache ;) Our next planned stop was the small Castle in Oporów. Nice one however it wasn’t planned as military fortification but rather like the sign of prestige and position. Interesting that it’s just one of few places with the moat still filled with water.
First i’ve rounded the castle to make some photos of the castle during autumn. Then we sightsaw the interiors of the castle which was interesting but not interesting enough for the camera…
[ To be continued ]
So please take a look at some photos from the Oporów. (Only the fist photo with flags is from Gostynin)
