monochroma.eu it’s a new project – a new website. At first this project was planned to be a dedicated website with b&w photography. But now, i decided to use that domain in a different way. Now you can see there galleries from our trip to Peru, Bolivia and Chile.
A few hours with use of JAlbum, Eclipse, XnViewer and now all proces is automated to choosing photos to galleries, thinking up the descriptions of photos, generating gallery (resizing images, generating thumbs) and at the end updating the config xml file by executing the right script. Sounds difficult ? Proabably yes – especially when you compare to picasa… But i hope the effect of this work is satisfactory.
I plan to publish on that website the best photos, so it’s obvious that there cannot be large amount of them not to bore the viewers… It’s proved – especially when you start a slideshow with almost 4000 photos (even having a beer in hand).
Another advantage is that there will be no blog-like form.
