Lifeguards in Brzeźno

On Saturday afternoon we had a walk on the Gdańsk Brzeźno Beach… Unfortunately the weather wasn’t a holiday and summer one. It was more like You would expect in September… Of course every weather is great for taking photos. This time I had with me Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 (or if you prefer the it’s full name: TAMRON SP AF 17-50mm F/2,8 XR Di II LD Aspherical [IF]) – it’s because my Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM is broken and it’s in service… unfortunately an ‘optical element with aperture’ had to be changed. My second lens on this short walk was Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5,6 IS which was planned by Canon to be an universal small lens with image stabilizer for the lower shelf – amateurs and passionate amateurs photographers… I had to say that it’s weight is it’s great advantage (This lens is mostly made of plastic except of course the glass lens…). The focus length is interesting, but I’m still not used to that, also the IS is good thing. It’s a good lens if you want to have something for close ups and you don’t want to carry a lot of weight. However this lens is probably not perfect with portraits and when you want to have photos of crystal clear kind quality. Also the light – f/4-5,6 is not too good however IS should balance this flaw.

Those photos below were taken with this short tele (Canon EF-S 55-250mm) check the parameters: aperture and the shutter below the photo. As you can see the weather wasn’t too good…
