A week ago I chose the Konica Auto S3 for some tests whether it works fine – as I bought the camera of ‘unknown condition’ without battery. Well, camera is in almost perfect order – it needs just change of light seals as it become of the consistency of the rubber and glue. As I wasn’t sure of the condition of the camera to minimize costs I’ve decided to load the color film inside – outdated Agfaphoto Vista 200 bought on auction portal for really occasional price. In fact I don’t know the expiration date of this film – and I’m not sure whether I want to know that :). I think it’s second outdated Agfa film I shot in different cameras and I feel that because the film expiration date and conditions it was stored the color on the photos seem to have too much green – but of course it might be corrected without problems in scanner settings or in postprocessing (eg. Lightroom). A Few photos I want to show you – were not modified with Photoshop or Lightroom – the only things I did was modifying default settings on the scanner – mostly with connected with color saturation and removing a little bit of green color. Photos were scanned in a big resolution 4800dpi – the image I received has 6600x4100px :) when scaled down all the imperfections on the photos become less noticable. I wonder how it would look like on the big format…
Photos where taken in the Warmia or Wysoczyzna Elbląska area – in Tolkmicko area and some shots in city itself.
Second photo – totally peaceful with straight horizon lines shows the fields and trees of Chojnowo on the side of the road. When I see such photos I always have in mind that they show only part of the story. From the experience of the person who was there I can say that it wasn’t the wonderland of milk and honey – had to take this photo quite quickly as I had to free hands to shoo off all the flying creatures who thought that my blood is quite tasty. For example the same is when I see the photos of the jungle – you can see only a nice green bush – but it’s only part of the story…
Anyway, just check out the landscape on the photo.
Third photo in this post shows the port in Tolkmicko. I really like the colors of the boats on this photo. Also the water of the port looks wonderful…
