Gdańsk / Fląder Festival

Fląder Festival in Gdańsk Brzeźno.

Well, I’ll add some comment to that post. Below you can see the photos taken last weekend in Gdańsk. As you can see there are some random shots from the neighbourhood, second part is dedicated to the Fląder Festival (PL) – a great concert on the Brzeźno Beach of not-so-well-known aritsts. At the 3rd part of this post you can see some portraits of friends taken on the concert – some of them were on purpose converted to b&w.

You can read more about the photos itself in comments under the photes (when magnified) and before every part of this post.

Gdańsk Wrzeszcz.

Below you can see some photos taken in the outskirts of the Lower Gdańsk Wrzeszcz district. I really love those manholes of Gdańsk – here old manhole with the old German name of the city: Kanalization Danzig. This manhole can be eg. from the 30s from the time of the Free City of Gdańsk.

Starts raining.

Photos taken when started raining. At once I recalled the atmosphere of the film ‘Koszmar minionego lata/I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer’ when I saw a hooded person carrying some mysterious package on the shoulders. The result is not as I planned to be – but for me – it’s even better :)

Fląder Festival.

In the evening we decided to go to the Fląder Festival. It was a great idea it was worth to hear those bands – usually they completely different from each other. There were two stages – with parallel concerts you could choose whether you want to hear some modern jazz or some heavier sounds or maybe somthing completely different.

Below you can see photos taken there while sitting on the bench, drinking beer and looking around.
