Fujifilm Workshops

About a week ago I participated the Workshops with Fujifilm entitled ‘Meeting with Master’. It’s a series of workshops in different Polish cities with great photographers shooting the street: Tomasz Lazar, Filip Ćwik and Alex Lambrechts (First two are winners of many awards including World Press Photo). Of course the second aim of the workshops is to promote the Fujifilm products – you can test all last Fujifilm cameras from the X series including the great XT-1. I really don’t mind that – it’s nice to test the equipment before you buy it, especially that a few words from the Fujifilm representative were short and interesting. Later there was a part when each of the Masters where showing their last work, including the ‘tasks’. The Task was given by Fujifilm and for example for Tomasz Lazar it was shooting atmosphere of New Your with one of Fujifilm cameras – Filip Ćwik had the task to test XT-1 with street portrait. After showing their latest work there was the workshop part – we had an opportunity to hit the street with one of the photographer. We were divided in three groups and I was in the group with Tomasz Lazar and the juggler who was helping us to take interesting photos on the street – or take an interesting street portrait. So… we went to the Warsaw Old Town armed mostly with Fujifilm X-Series cameras… And the results from that walk you can see below.
