View at the Brazilian City Foz do Iguaçu from the bus window while crossing the Parana river. Destination: coach station in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, 2010.
Photo taken when leaving the Puerto de Iguazu, after visiting the famous waterfalls on the Argentinian side, and going to the next sightseeing stop: Asuncion, Paraguay. The bus was almost completely full, because as we knew afterwards, everybody from Argentinian side were going shopping to the Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. Near the border was a big market under the open-sky, as well as the indoors with all stuff you can imagine – but mostly the newest electronics from Japan and China. The prices were half of those you can see in Argentina.
That was the main reason why we had only standing places in the bus, which additionally was stuck in the traffic jam on the Brazilian side… I wasn’t able to take the camera from my backpack – I was only able to use my phone to take that photo ([Samsung S7220]).
