Recently I visited London for a short while. Really short. Just for a one day – especially for the conference. During that time I had really only some time in the morning while commuting to take a few photos of londoners rushing to work and in the evening I reserved some time to wander around London, and using different means of transport. I also had taken a few photos the next day during my way to airport but those photos will be in the next post.
For me London is the best city for the Street Photography, I really love taking photos there. People say that the best city for that kind of photography is New York as there is always something happen interesting – but I’ve never been there so I cannot compare. If someone has a spare ticket, I’d be grateful – I can find it under the Xmas tree for example. In London I love using the tube, visiting different stations, catching in frame people rushing between lines. Probably I should more often take a free day to shoot photos on London streets, especially that’s not far and quite cheap when airplanes ticket bought in advance.
Anyway I was taking photos mostly at The City district, Liverpool Station and surrounding area, Moorgate station, and later on in the Tube. Check the photos below. If you feel that the photo-story is abruptly cut in the middle – it’s on purpose – the rest of the photos will be in the next post :)
