I have no time recently for developing the B&W films, but I still want to shoot in b&w that’s why I’ve decided to load Bessa with BW400CN. I have a good lab where I usually develop c-41 films in one day. What was not obvious I’ve used a new film which hasn’t been expired yet. I wanted to have a good, predictable results just for once.
When shooting film I really respect every frame, that’s why I always think twice before taking the photo – and every situation usually seem not interesting enough to press the shutter – but of course there are exceptions like for example photo which is featured in that post. I’m really proud of this frame, – maybe it’s not perfect – but it has a perfect timing – caught exactly as I wanted. It’s not worthy to mention that I passed that window more then once to catch the couple :) of course it wasn’t so difficult because as you can see on the photo they didn’t care about surrounding them world. Because I really think and consider pros and cons before taking a photo It takes some time to shoot all 36 frames – that’s why subjects on one film varies, as I use the same film in different trips if I didn’t find anything interesting worth a photo.
This time BW400CN was used to record some street walk in Gdynia and Warsaw, I shoot 3 or 4 frames at Podlasie at our friends’ farm, and at the end I shoot two frame during our May trip to Vilnius in Lithuania. Take a look:
First part – photos from a short walk in Gdynia.
Second part: photos from walks around Warsaw: Bielany District…
… and the city centre.
Third part: Podlasie
And the last one: Vilnius, Lithuania:
