Gdańsk Brzeźno Walk

On the beginning of the January we had still holidays mostly because of 2 days off and the Epiphany on 6th of January. Thanks to that I could take some photos during the daylight. Usually I take photos in the evening or sometimes on Sunday I manage to catch some daylight in the late afternoon. This time we had a nice walk at the Brzeźno boulevard and beach. I had a lot of time to take photos unfortunately the weather was against me. It was very humid and cloudy without a sun. The result of shooting during such weather you can see on the photos below. First part was taken in Brzeźno, a few next of the Marynarki Polskiej Avenue I took when driving home through the windshield. Others are from Gdynia and Gdańsk Wrzeszcz (long exposures).

Left building is the restaurant where you can eat very good fish. I recommend especially served with garlic butter.

Toilet. You can see small WC sign which means toilet. But in fact this building looks more like a bunker.

Below photos taken through the windshield while driving the Marynarki Polskiej Avenue back from Brzeźno. I like them. The blacks and the sky makes the atmosphere on those photos.

Below are long exposure photos. Exposure was between 10 and 30s. I had no tripod with me so I have to use everything I could find as the stable stand for the camera. I really like those photos of the semaphore. There was a slight fog and I thought that those lights will look great forming a nice light beams. I considered shooting in color but I didn’t feel like fighting with the white balance as the light was mixed with tungsten and sodium lamps.
