Because not continuing paying for the domain monochroma.eu from now on all photos from there (Peru, Bolivia) are available on the wally-photo.info server (in fact it always was here). What’s more i don’t feel like updating the galleries available there – which in the original idea should be only from the South America at this domain. The choice of flash gallery used to show photos at monochroma.eu site is not fortunate – it’s not so easy to watch those photos with the description at the middle of the photo. Another argument against is the size of photo – it’s small and the fact that next photo is not buffered during watching current one. Other thing with comments is that I feel that nobody reads it so my motivation isn’t too high to write such long comments to each photo. Putting aside motivations I still feel that that .eu gallery isn’t to good for watching photos so it will be discontinued until i’ll find a better way i will put my gallery here… (if I’ll find my project of .eu gallery i migh still update my old galleries. It would be great to have a complete gallery of my old trip.).
Okay. So be prepared for the long loading webpage because number of photos. Previews, descirptions, exifs they take time to load. Still have in mind if you want to see a nice photo not destroyed by level of compression you will have to wait (unless you have a good internet connection). For example when i had time i’ve done such ‘plugin’ to my webpage that exif data for all photos at the webpage (main page) is loading in the background – so usually if you are curious about the photo, and you see the description ‘no exif’ wait a little bit go forward and return – you should see the data – of course if it was taken by digital camera – some photos are taken by the analogue one so i don’t remember the data and there is no such.
Time to say somtihing about the photos. 2 years ago we were on the trip to Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Those photos below are from the moment we were finishing our trip to the Uros islands (more photos and info at the Peru, Bolivia, Chile Gallery). After return from that island – most commercial one i have ever seen in Peru (even better than train from the Aguas Calientes) we quickly packed up and went for the bus to the Bolivia (we were still in Peru then). The bus was to the Copacabana village at the Titicaca lake. So the photos starts from the last photo on the ship on our way back from the Uros islands…
Some stariting photos from the Puno and return from the Uros islands. There was some accident on the road involving the big truck.
Check it out – how it look through the window. Please have in mind that we were traveling in the short small bus…
It was strange that we managed to pass the accident by passing the truck on the left side on the grassy hill with the lean of the bus about 30 degrees. Everybody was asking whether they should go to the other side of the bus…
New asphalt… probably ? For sure good trap for the car without the lights during the night. View at the titicaca lake… 4000m.asl. 3rd photos is the gate when leaving the Peru border and going towards Bolivia.
Welcome in Bolivia sign. Border Guard House. After our entrance there were closing the border…
